On Saturday I moved back to Portsmouth, if you have already read my ‘Moving Back to University‘ post then you will be aware of this already, but for those of you who are not aware then there you go. I managed to unpack very quick, especially for someone who tends to procrastinate a lot of the time. I thought what could be more perfect than posting a room tour? Not only so I could share it with you guys; but as I mentioned in my moving in post, be able to reflect back on it in years to come. Plus, these are my favourite kind of posts or YouTube videos to read/watch – so that is a bonus.

By taking a few days out of blogging, it feels like forever since I last posted. However do bear with me, I have a reasonable excuse; I’ve been moving back to university. In order for me to get myself together and be in the mindset to blog, I really wanted to settle in and organise my room; in which I have done and now I’m ready to continue.

Welcome to episode three of Legally Brunette; a law series that I unintentionally started prior to making it a series – with the help of the gorgeous Ellie Blakeney. You can check out her blog here – where she shares amazing blog advice and all things lifestyle, fashion and beauty related. Anyway back to the series, I thought what could be more perfect than creating a series tailored to my fellow aspiring lawyers; the journey getting there is tough enough and would be so much easier if we were to share our experiences with each other. Throughout the series, I will be discussing all things law related, from my study routine to my tips and tricks of surviving law school; which leads us back to episode three – Legally Brunette: A Beginners Guide to Starting Law School.

When I started my gluten-free journey over a year ago, to be completely honest with you I was not strict on myself in the slightest.  Freshers week was full of chicken burgers, chicken nuggets, fried chicken… essentially anything that contained chicken and wheat. I would torture my body by filling it with all the kind of foods it could not digest properly. My mood would be constantly low and every day I would have this ‘fogginess’ which does not help when you have assignments left, right and centre.

I knew that there was only one solution to this discomfort and that was to eliminate all gluten from my diet, no barley, no rye and especially no wheat.
