My Current Favourites: July 2018

I cannot believe that we are in August already and in a months time summer will be coming to an end. With that said, I thought I would share my current favourites of July into one big blog post for you – saying that, quite a few things I have been living for longer than the last month.

Eyelash Extensions

My most loved beauty favourite of July has to be eyelash extensions by far. I am an avid false eyelash wearer and even if I was not wearing makeup I most likely had a strip of false eyelashes glued onto my eyes. However, with thanks to my lovely eyelash technician Sephi – her Instagram is ‘boosbeautyx’ (you should definitely check her out if you are looking into eyelash extensions) I no longer need to spend my mornings fiddling around trying to stick the stubborn corners down only for them to be blown away.

Not only does it make my life that much easier but it makes me feel so confident going out without makeup. Not in a million years would I feel confident enough to go bare-faced on my Instagram or like any photos where I do not have makeup on. However, thanks to eyelash extensions I feel fabulous – it is going to be a sad time when I go back to Portsmouth and can no longer have them.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

With the scorching heat making wearing makeup difficult, my ultimate favourite setting spray has been a lifesaver throughout the heatwave. Most importantly, it made my makeup last all day and night at my mums’ wedding – which I cannot wait to post about soon when the photographer comes back with the beautiful pictures he took. I’ve been loving this product for about three/four years now and despite trying many alternatives, I always return back to UD.

Maybelline Superstay 24 Hour Foundation

Now quite like the All Nighter spray, I did come across this little gem a while ago back – long story short I was in dire need of a foundation to save for Milan as the student life had left me too poor to afford my holy grail Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation. A few months on and I am convinced I kind of prefer this to the Magic Foundation, not only is it full coverage – which I love but it is a fraction of the price. Normally RRP at £9.99 I have managed to pick it up in Tescos on special for as little as £5 – which is a lot more friendly to my bank than spending £30.

Yellow Denim Skirt

As seen on my Instagram on several occasions, I am obsessed with the yellow denim skirt I picked up in Topshop – I am still yet to purchase the matching denim jacket and the pink denim set. I love co-ordinating it with my white bandeau which I also picked up in Topshop and cannot wait to pair it with the lace bodysuit I have recently purchased. Not only am I obssessed with yellow denim, but I have also been loving my yellow purse from River Island and my yellow cami top from New Look.

Nike Air Force 1 in White

Also always paired with my yellow skirt, white bandeau combo is my Nike Air Force 1’s in white. For the longest time I resisted from buying these as 1) I never used to be a trainer person and the most I would spend is £40 on either Converse or Vans and 2) I knew I ran a huge chance of ruining them and getting them dirty. I wore these in Milan and during my time working at the local pub over the World Cup period and they got absolutely wrecked – however, I popped them in the washing machine and they came out like brand new, so they are definitely worth the money.

I also love wearing white during the summer months as it really compliments your tan and always makes you looked more tanned than you really are!

Black Lace Bodysuit

I have been searching for one of these underwired black bodies for the longest time now since I saw plenty of influencers on Instagram rocking the Gooseberry Intimates bodies and other celebrities such as Khloe Kardashian. However, being quite tall for a girl and being blessed on the chest, I find it hard to hard to find bodies perfect for me. I found the perfect lace body on Oh Polly and cannot wait to rock it on more nights out or to a cocktail bar.

Much Love,
